DESCRIPTION: 1 vol., 8-3/4" x 6-1/4", illustrated with a frontis and 14 plates with decorative gold borders. Bound in Leake's patent, tan, "Relievo Leather" binding by Leighton, Son & Hodge after Owen Jones, elaborately embossed with rustic boarders of interlacing branches with vine leaves & bunches of grapes surrounding a central panel incorporating title & ears of corn, spine similarly embossed, all edges gilt, brass clasp & edges.
CONDITION: Inner and outer hinges fine, head & foot of spine fine.

A fine example of Victorian craftsmanship.
