DESCRIPTION: FIRST EDITION. 1vol., 6-1/8” x 3-3/4”, pagination erratic but complete, with the engraved frontis portrait plate neatly laid down and the scarce errata leaf which was originally tipped in, complete, closely shaved along foot touching on a few catchwords, worming to foot of textblock affecting the last few pages. Bound in fine full green morocco, raised bands, gilt lettered spine, gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, by Alfred Mattews.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A collection of Cavalier Poems. Included in it are numerous amorous and drinking songs, poems to mistresses, political satires in favor of Royalists, and a poem entitled, "Ben. Johnsons Sociable Rules for the Apollo."
