DESCRIPTION: THE CONNOISSEUR EDITION. 16 vols., 8-7/8" x 6-1/4", limited to 100 numbered copies this being copy #68, illustrated, frontispieces in multiple states, with the exception of volumes 1, 4 & 5 each frontis has an additional hand colored plate each signed in pencil by the artist Frank T. Merrill and one by Edmund H. Garrett, bound in 1/2 green morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spines, marbled pastedowns and endpapers, top edges gilt, others uncut as issued.
CONDITION: Internally clean and bright, hinges fine, head and foot of spines fine, a VERY GOOD set.
