CONDITION: Inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spines fine, internally clean and bright, mild toning to covers, overall a VERY GOOD set.

PROVENANCE: By decent through the family of Dr. Joseph N. Bishop, a New York City physician and surgeon, who arrived in the area around 1880 and who is credited with attaching the name Paola FL (originally known as Sylvan Lake) to the Seminole County community.
