Bound in the publisher's original gilt stamped rose colored cloth, all edges gilt, un-broken "D" to Dickens on front cover, yellow pastedowns and endpapers.

CONDITION: Outer hinges fine, rear inner hinge just starting, head and foot of spine slightly rubbed with some very minor loss, rear upper hinge with an extremely skillful repair, back corners square, previous owners bookplate to front pastedown, mild general handling, housed in a red leather backed open ended slipcase, overall a VERY GOOD+ copy.
