Linton. Bound in fine contemporary full marbled calf, gilt lettered black morocco spine label, covers ruled in gilt, gilt dentelles, red pastedowns and endpapers, all edges gilt, by J. Leighton, Brewer Street.
CONDITION: Internally clean and bright throughout, inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spine fine, a VERY GOOD copy.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: John Leighton, was one of a family of bookbinders who were in business in London from 1764 until 1920 and opened his shop in Brewer Street, Golden Square, in 1820.
