THE COLLATION - complete with all the Dombey Advertiser's present in each part.
PART 1: lacking 1 rear ad (Just Published... Gilbert's College Atlas).
PART 9: first issue of text, with the word "Delight" instead of "Joy" mentioned twice on page 284.
PART 10: lacking 1 rear ad (Gilbert's Dictionary).
PART 11: earliest issue with "Capatin" on the last line of p.324.
PART 13: with an additional ad not called for in Hatton & Cleaver.
PART 14: page number 427 present but "if" omitted on p.426 line 9,
PART 19/20: earliest issue with 2 line errata.
Housed in 2 full red morocco solinder slipcases, raised bands gilt lettered spines.
CONDITION: Overall a better than average set, entirely unsophisticated with the exception of some small expert repairs to the foot of several issues, overall VERY GOOD.
ADDITIONAL INFORAMTION: Dickens in parts are becoming increasingly difficult to find in their earliest issue for a reasonable price in good condition.
