Browne ("Phiz"), first state of engraved title reading "Tony Veller" on signboard, p.342 with "S. Veller",  page 432, headline, "F" in "OF" imperfect, with two scarce suppressed plates by Buss, Pickwick misspelled ("Picwkick") on p. 375, and several others, plates and text clean and bright throughout.  Bound in 1/2 red morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spine, top edge gilt.

CONDITION: Inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spine fine.  AN ATTRACTIVE COPY.
