DESCRIPTION: LIMITED SIGNED EDITION WITH TWO ORIGINAL DRAWINGS. 1 vol., 11" x 9-3/16", limited to 1100 numbered signed copies this being copy #473, with an original ink sketch of the mock turtle and gryphon signed with monogram and dated 1927, illustrated with numerous tipped in color pates with titled tissue guards and B&W illustrations in text, bound in full blue morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spine, covers ruled and paneled in gilt, gilt corner pieces, gilt dentelles, top edge gilt, others uncut, marbled pastedowns and endpapers, by Bayntun/Riviere, housed in a matching gilt clamshell slipcase of full blue morocco, by the Temple Bindery.

CONDITION: Some minor offsetting to the first and last leaves otherwise internally clean and bright, no previous ownership marking, inscriptions, or bookplate, A VERY GOOD COPY.
