DESCRIPTION: AN UNRECORDED PHOTOGRAPH BY DODGSON. Original photograph trimmed to an oval measuring 10 x 7.5 cm, mounted to a piece of card stock, verso of card stock with a contemporary inscription which reads "Flossey Terry July 1865.", housed in a contemporary Victorian black wooden frame.
CONDITION: Image slightly faded but still sharp.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: According to the catalogue raisonne of Dodgson's photographs by Edward Wakeling there are 2 similar images of Florence numbered 1351 and 1353. This image seams clearly to be the missing image #1352. This visit is well documented by Dodgson. His diary entry reads "At Terrys, took Flo as 'Cinderella,' and one or two others..."
