AUTHOR: FEYNMAN, Richard Phillips (Ralph Leighton)

TITLE: "What do you care what other people think?" Further adventures of a curious  character.

PUBLISHER: New York: W. W. Norton & Company, 1988.

DESCRIPTION: FIRST EDITION, A RARE UNCORRECTED PROOF preceding the published edition by about three months. 1 vol., 8-1/4" × 5-1/4", 114 leaves, printed wrappers, housed in a cloth clamshell slipcase, gilt  lettered black morocco spine label.

CONDITION: Rubbing to wrappers otherwise VERY GOOD.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This was Feynman's last work, the second volume, in effect, of "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!" offered above. It "gives [us] a far more somber and realistic picture of Feynman: not just a bongo-playing, skirt-chasing, joke-telling prankster, but a man, always earnest and sometimes troubled, who thought more deeply than most about the power and the limitations of science." (James Gleick, The New York Times 13 November 1988.)

Because this book was published soon after Feynman's death, there are no signed copies, and these page proofs put us as close as we can come to the author's hand.
