Bound in full blue polished calf, ribbed gilt decorated spine, gilt lettered red morocco spine label, spine panels tooled with a snake and chalice device, covers triple ruled in gilt, front cover tooled with a matching snake and chalice, snake inlaid with multi color morocco, gilt dentelles, marbled pastedowns and endpapers, bookplate to front pastedown, all edges gilt, housed in an open ended red cloth slipcase, by Riviere & Son.
CONDITION: Inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spine fine, overall in VERY GOOD condition.
