DESCRIPTION: FIRST EDITION IN A FINE COSWAY BINDING. 1 vol., 7-3/8" x 5", illustrated, bound in full red morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spine, spine panels tooled with Jungle Book characters, covers ruled and floral paneled, front cover with a fine portrait miniature of Kipling, rear cover center panel with a gilt wolf, gilt dentelles, floral gilt decorated blue morocco doublures, red water-silk endpapers, all edges gilt, housed in a red cloth clamshell slipcase.
CONDITION: IN FINE CONDITION, no defects to note.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Though the binding is not signed it would appear to have been done by Bayntun.
