CONDITION: Rubbing to back corners, spine expertly relined, internally clean and bright, leather bookplate of Estelle Doheny to front pastedown, housed in a full green morocco slipcase.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: First published anonymously in the Troy, New York Sentinel on December 23, 1823 but this marks its first appearance in a volume of Moore's own verse. More widely known as "Twas the Night Before Christmas", the poem is also the first time each of Santa Claus's reindeer are named.
