CONSIDERED AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLEMISH BOOK AT THE END OF THE XVIth CENTURY. 1 vol., folio, 32.5 cm x 23 cm, (vi)153,595pp.(ii), complete, illustrated with 154 full page plates engraved by Anton, Hieronymus and Johannes Wierix, Martin de Vos, Adrien Collaert and Bernardino Passeri.  Bound in fine full brown morocco, raised bands, spine panels and covers with an elaborate gilt tooled black morocco onlay in a Grolier-esque style, gilt dentelles, white vellum doublures, all edges gilt, by J. Haines - Liverpool.

CONDITION: Internally clean and bright, inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spine fine, upper back corners slightly bumped, covers slightly cupped, overall a FINE COPY with wide margins.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Jerome Natale, published this book to provide a gospel for the use of missionaries for the edification of the faithful.
