Festus Pragnell (Frank William Pragnell, 1905-1977) was a British policeman and author of pulp fiction active mostly in the 1930s and 1940s. This work is a fantasy set on Kilsona, an inhabited planet of the microcosm. Pragnell's summary of the planet's history is largely based on the writings of H. Geewells, especially his book "War From The Clouds".
