ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The poem celebrates a brawl in the Wood Street Compter, or debtors' prison. The title-page vignette, a copperplate, illustrates a brawl; the other plate, a full-page woodcut, shows a scene at the gate of the prison. The date of the first edition of this work is uncertain, but circa 1628 is guessed.
