CONDITION: Overall VERY GOOD.

PROVENANCE: From #29 in De Ricci Census: "Joseph Ames's sale (May 1760, Catalogue p. 56, #797) to Dr. Gifford: bequeathed by him in 1784 to Baptist College Bristol."  The book was acquired and broken up by Spink, London C. 1975.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The present leaf is of St. Augustine's City of God. William Caxton was the first of the 15th C. printers to publish in English.
