DESCRIPTION: FIRST EDITION FIRST ISSUE IN PARTS A PERFECT SET! 20 parts in 19, first issue with "Rigaud" for "Blandois" and the correction slip in Part XVI, minor foxing to plates but cleaner than usual, spines largely original but a few with expert repairs at some earlier date, complete with all the Little Dorrit Advertiser's and all adverts as called for by Hatton & Cleaver.
CONDITION: Edges of wrappers in VERY GOOD condition, overall a VERY GOOD+ set often found incomplete and/or in quite shabby condition, housed in a 1/2 maroon morocco chemesed slipcase with raised bands and gilt lettered spine, spine sunned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Dickens in parts are becoming increasingly difficult to find in their earliest issue for a reasonable price in good condition.
