DESCRIPTION: FIRST EDITION BOUND FROM THE PARTS. 1 vol., 8-3/4" x 5-3/4", mixed issue, of the two critical issue points "latter" at p. 160 is present, but "visiter" at p. 123 is not (these 2 issues points are seldom found together), illustrated by Phiz.  Bound in 1/2 contemporary green morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spine, all edges gilt, frontis portrait plate.

CONDITION: General foxing to plates throughout but not terribly so.  Inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spine fine, overall a VERY GOOD copy.
