Whatman 1801 and 1805 and signature and imprint underneath each plate. Bound in fine full blue morocco, covers ruled with a floral boarder, ribbed gilt decorated spine, front cover inlaid with 2 original illustrations on vellum a view of Coalbrook Dale, Shropshire (after de Loutherbourg) and portrait roundel of the author by Martin Frost, top edge gilt, bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe for Denis Collins, VERY GOOD+, housed in a dark blue cloth clamshell slipcase, gilt lettered leather spine label.
