DESCRIPTION: FIRST AND ONLY EDITION.1 vol., 6-5/8" x 4-1/4", (ii)108(iv)pp., 4 pages of publishers ads inconsistently numbered, numerous illustrations throughout many hand colored as issued. Bound in the original silver stamped blue cloth, all edges gilt, yellow pastedown and endpapers, gift inscription to front endleaf dated 1854.
CONDITION: Inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spine and back corners rubbed with some minor loss, some minor toning and foxing throughout, still VERY GOOD.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We find no copy on the internet, no copy has never appeared at auction, and we can not find any copy in university collections.
