According to a copy at one institution there is a pencil note on one of the half-titles: Of this edition for copyright purposes, only twelve (12) copies have been printed. Stone & Kimball .../ "Printed by R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company at the Lakeside Press, Chicago, Ill MDCCCXCVI." Parts I. and iii. are fastened with wire, Part ii. is sewed.
