ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The tipped in text in this set is amusing, insofar as Trollope wrote to Tauchnitz in 1882, the year of his death, "Alas! I find that I have contributed 79 volumes to the collection! That I ... should have wasted so many years in what is regarded as a frivolous employment! The number strikes me with awe. But still I live in hope that I shall make up the 80th before I die."
