DESCRIPTION: FIRST EDITION. 3 vols., illustrated by George Cattermole and Hablot Browne. Bound in the publisher's original gilt and blind stamped mauve cloth, housed in a brown cloth open ended slipcase.
CONDITION: Inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spines rubbed with some very minor loss, upper and lower of rear hinge to vol. 2 just starting but still firm, spines slightly sunned, internally clean and bright, still a VERY GOOD set.
